On September 21, MVCI celebrates its 8th year anniversary by participating in Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup (ICC). Teaming up with One Earth One Ocean Philippines, The Lighthouse Marina Resort, and the Philippine Alliance for Recycling and Materials Sustainability, MVCI joined the cleanup drive at Baseco Beach, Manila.
The MVCI team worked with volunteers to clear trash from the coastline, raising awareness about waste management and plastic pollution. Their efforts extended beyond the cleanup as they supported projects on plastic processing and circular economy practices. These initiatives aim to reduce waste through sustainable methods of recycling and reuse.
