Our CEO, Maureen Laus, along with our partner consultants, participated in the MMDA’s Road to Zero Waste Management event on November 5 at the Bayanihan Center in Pasig. The event featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Atty. Jessi Howard Lanete (DILG ASEC), Atty. Jonas Leones (DENR USEC), Commissioner Crispian Lao (Vice Chairman, National Solid Waste Management Commission), Mayor Jeannie Sandoval of Malabon, and MMDA GM Usec. Procopio Lipana, each emphasizing the transformative potential of zero-waste solutions.
MMDA’s ambitious 10-year roadmap calls for strong collaboration among government, businesses, and communities to establish a sustainable waste management system. This vision aligns closely with MVCI’s own environmental advocacy, as we remain committed to supporting initiatives that drive long-term, sustainable change.
In this shared commitment, MVCI pledged active support with the following oath:
“We, Muovere Veloce Consultancy Inc., commit ourselves to fervently support the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s Road to Zero Waste ten-year program, as it strives to adopt a circular economy model in our collaborative journey towards sustainable cities. We envision this cause as an opportunity to become dynamic partners in exploring innovative solutions to effect social change and environmental development. We pledge our time, effort, and resources to help our government champion the goal of implementing comprehensive and integrated solid waste management strategies.”
MVCI’s participation aligns with its ongoing sustainability projects, such as coastal clean-ups and waste management education, as it continues to support a greener, more sustainable future.
